i was able to solve the problem of being unable to run "make" on my
machine.
i had been getting the following errors on running make.
crt0: no /usr/lib/ld.so
&crt0: /usr/lib/ld.so mapping failure
crt0: no /dev/zero
it seems my file permissions were right,but my "make" veriosn was not
correct.i was able to run the following "make" version on my machine:
GNU make verison 3.75 on my SunOS 5.5.1
