    The aim of the Conference is to foster scientific meetings between Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Latin America researchers, to improve the knowledge of the state of the art of declarative programming and to show the ongoing research done.

    AGP'02 will be held at the Technical University of Madrid, co-located with International Static Analysis Symposium (SAS'02) and Logic-based Program Development and Transformation (LOPSTR'02). The three past editions of AGP have been held in Evora, Portugal (2001), La Habana, Cuba (2000), and L'Aquila, Italy (1999).

    The technical program for the conference will include invited lectures and presentations of papers. Papers will be reviewed and accepted submissions will be available on web. Please specify whether the submitted paper is also under consideration (or accepted) for presentation in other meetings. Submissions of papers are welcome on all aspects of declarative programming, including, but not limited to:

Theoretical Foundations: languages, semantics, procedures for declarative programming
Implementation
Program development tools
Knowledge representation and reasoning
Extensions
Critical surveys
Applications and evaluation
